Examining color as a representation of class and a manufacturing of desire for the home, I based the color layout for this work on paint chips designed by Martha Stewart sold exclusively at Kmart.
The stitch pattern mirrors this strange consumer coupling by showing all of the bridges and ferry routes connecting New Jersey to Manhattan, two worlds separate yet connected.
